Melissa has provided me with a little background information on Jack...it is such a beautiful story....

"I got Jack from Whippet Rescue and Placement when he was about a year old.  He was very shy and un-socialised, and since I had another whippet who was the exact opposite and went everywhere with me, the rescue/foster mom thought I would be a good match to help bring Jack out of his shell. 

We started obedience right away and he got his Canine Good Citizenship after a few tries (he had a hard time being left with a stranger part of the test).

He'll be 4 next month and has turned into the best little dog.  He is still a little shy with strangers at first, but no longer keeps his tail constantly tucked.  He is even comfortable enough to get in trouble around the house and not worry (like he used to) that I'm going to return him.

He has made great strides and is the best match for our little family!"
