Chocolate is very dangerous for dogs: it can even be fatal
The combination of dog and chocolate is a very dangerous combination. While dogs just so love the delicacy. Because it is often thought that animals know exactly what is good for them, but that’s wrong. Because chocolate can kill a dog. A big dog who accidentally gets a piece of chocolate will not immediately die. But a little dog that gets 50 grams of dark chocolate can be very ill or even die.

Why is chocolate dangerous for dogs?
Chocolate contains theobromine in traces. This gives the typical taste treat. Milk chocolate has less theobromine than plain chocolate. The bitter taste comes from here. White chocolate contains Theobromine, but very few.
Theobromine has a number of effects, but it also irritates the body. And in dogs is much larger than the effect in humans. If theobromine in the dogs stomach stays, much more gastric juice is produced. Therefore, gastric ulcers, but also acute vomiting and diarrhea occurs. But does more theobromine. It is quickly absorbed into the blood and it attacks the heart muscle too. As a result the animal has rapid breathing. The breath passes through the material much faster. If an animal had lots of chocolate, it can die from cardiac arrest.

The French lop, a giant bunny fun!

The French lop rabbit is one of the biggest races, and weighing over 6 pounds in size they do not much inferior to a flemish giant. These are big friendly animals and are very affectionate towards people, especially interested in children, they want you to come sit with them and like to be closer and cuddle. They point rather not be lifted! You have chance to thrash them, thus making your ugly scratch or damage their back ones own so it is necessary that you lift them well. And the right thing would be to lift them with one hand between the legs supporting the breast, and with your other hand supporting their ass, just above the tail, thereby tilting the animal you’re sitting a bit, and keep it quiet.
Wrap them with your hands, that gives them a certain feeling of security. When they feel that they are at risk of falling, they will certainly oppose! Never lift the animal by his neck! A French lop developed a very thick undercoat that protects it from moisture and cold, and with such a thick coat in the living room where it can be about 22 degrees, the animal may even collapse from the heat. If it is very hard winter put some sawdust hay and straw in his cage. This way he can stay outside. Read the rest of this entry »
